DJ Lynce has helped put Porto on the map, when it comes to electronic music. A dedicated record collector and cultural agitator, he’s something of a local legend. During his expansive sets, he moulds and shapes sounds and styles to his will, mixing experimental club music, breakbeat, jungle, off-kilter techno and even pyschedelia and folk. For Sónar Lisboa 2024, this nocturnal animal (his name is Portuguese for lynx) will perform live, with a set inspired by his love of jungle, breaks, UK hardcore and acid: the sound of the golden era of rave.
