Rehearsing Moves on Hazy Paths | Andrea Goetzke, Brenda Alamilla & Lo Moran

With Andrea Goetzke, Brenda Alamilla, and Lo Moran

Rehearsing moves on hazy paths is a series that explores themes of rehearsal and practice for possibilities beyond structures of extraction and power. It asks: how may we seek to do things differently, in more caring, nourishing, relational and equitable ways? With workshops, conversations, performances, readings, dinners, role play & exhibitions taking place at ZK/U throughout August and September.

This is the second of a three part series which invites artists from Rehearsing Moves on Hazy Paths to discuss their work. The show features a conversation among the series' co-curator and artist Brenda Alamilla, co-coordinator and artist Lo Moran, as well as its initiator and director, Andrea Goetzke. They talk about the idea of rehearsal, what you can experience and understand about structures we live in through your relationship to a self-seeded plant like the stinging nettle, and also about the upcoming LARP that aims to create a playful, open and experimental space for reflections and conversations about conflict and aftercare in activist contexts.
