Partisan Records | section1

Partisan Records is an independent record label hailing from New York, with offices in LA, London, and Kreuzberg, Berlin. We put out great music from artists like PJ Harvey, Ezra Collective, IDLES, Cigarettes After Sex, Fontaines D.C., Laura Marling, NoSo and Geese, as well as three generations of Kutis: Fela, Femi and Mádé. Each month, we bring you a special Refuge Worldwide show, sometimes hosted by me Ellie, but often by our artists, or by friends and family of the label.

This month's show is hosted by our partner label section1. Los Angeles-based section1 is run by Brontë Jane and Chris Robbins, both of whom are longtime friends of the Partisan Records team. Born in 2021, section1 has gone on to release music from the likes of Hildegard, Fazerdaze and Blonde Redhead. Find out more at section1.world.
