Concrete Listening Show traces ways of listening through words, jazz, and electronic music.

This end-of-the-year show is special. It features some of ILYICH's favourite listening hymns played this year and transmits the voices of Ursula K Le Guin, Toni Morrison, Pauline Oliveros, Octavia Butler, Candice Hopkins, Maya Angelou, and Alice Coltrane.

Spending time in the great company of female thinkers, poets, writers, activists, and musicians this show is dedicated to the practice of soul and reminds us of many ways to listen.

Convinced of listening as a generative practice, the Concrete Listening Show points towards the challenges and solutions, which are simultaneously practical and theoretical, empirical and conceptual, literal and metaphorical, mystical and material, political and spiritual, collective and individual, mundane and extraordinary.
